PBL Science

Do we want our science to look something like this? This educator's past experiences and deep content knowledge make it realistic to pull this off. Many teachers do not have these types of experiences. For those that don't, how could outside expertise be used to help educators pull this off?

Science is a way of thinking, much more so than a body of knowledge or pile of stodgy, tedious content.

These students are given an opportunity, far too rare within the context of K-12 education, to see science for what it is and what it can be.

I would have loved to have a science class like this in HS.

If you look at their lab, you'll see why they are High Tech High! Wow! No, you don't have to have all that tech, so we need to find partners in the community to give us the forum to do such awesome things.
