1. The development of science concepts from kindergarten to grade five and gain a new understanding of where students have come from since I teach 5th. Also, to see how technology can be incorporated into the teaching of the standards.

2. *Gain a picture of what a science student will look like at the end of the K-5 program.
*See how I can review and reinforce earlier concepts learned with my fifth grade students.

I hope to learn more about the inquiry approach to teaching science. The goal, or course, is to create some interesting lessons with this model.

I hope to learn how to use more inquiry based learning activities with my Science students. By participating in the course of study revision process I am hoping to really focus on going deeper with the basic indicators given by the state.

Long term learning goals include using all available technology to ensure learning for all of my students.

I hope to learn even more about the curriculum revision process and help to develop a science course of study that will best meet the needs of all third graders!

At the end of this revision process, I will have more practice at creating and implementing common formative and summative assessments.

At the end of this revision process, I will look forward to implementing our new curriculum!

I hope to learn how to implement more inquiry based lessons in my classroom. I also am interested in bringing 21st century skills into my classroom.

1. I hope to development more insight of the science concepts taught in the fourth grade. Also, collaborate with others teaching science to collaborate what inquiry based lessons were successful and not successful with the students - those lessons that were not successful collaborate together to make the lesson better.

2. Goal is to implement 21st century skills and more inquiry based learning.

I hope to gain a better understanding of the curriculum as it exists now, and as the revision process occurs, to strive to create a model that is both Inquiry-Based and rich with 21st Century learning techniques.

I hope to learn the standards, in depth,from k-5. I hope to know what my students have already been exposed to when they arrive in 5th grade.

I hope to learn how to better implement inquiry based/problem based science lessons within my classroom as well as get a better understanding of the indicators/learning goals.

At the end of this revision process, I will hope to get a better understanding of science curriculum K-5 and how technology/21st century fits in.

I hope to learn...How to implement the science curriculum within the lang. arts program in first grade. Also, how to fit science in the pacing guide.
2. Long term goal...embedding the new stadards into our new Science COS.
